As we all expected, Joe Biden issued a slew of preemptive pardons in his final hours in the Oval Office. It was hardly surprising, given that he was willing to grant clemency to murderers, and free crooks from jail like the judge at the center of the “kids for cash” scandal.

Biden issued pardons for Dr. Anthony Fauci, retired General Mark Milley, and members of the House committee that investigated the January 6 Capitol attack, including Liz Cheney and Adam “Crying” Kinzinger. He, quite hilariously, emphasized the importance of the rule of law and expressed concern over them facing “politically motivated prosecutions.” He went on to describe them as dedicated public servants who have been unjustly targeted.

Meanwhile, the Biden DOJ’s own website describes preemptive pardons as “highly unusual.”
