Chris Wray Prepares to Resign to Avoid Humiliation of Trump Firing Him

Chris Wray is determined to avoid hearing the two words heard by hundreds of contestants on The Apprentice before him: You’re fired!

If Wray were fired, he’d be the third FBI director in history to be fired - and second to be fired by Trump (the other being James Comey). It’s extremely rare for an FBI director to be fired from their job, thus proving just how terrible a job Wray did if he’s at risk.

According to the Daily Fetched

As a new era of leadership under Trump emerges, Wrays’s impending public dismissal would undoubtedly shift focus to his disastrous role at the agency’s helm.

For instance, the raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home and whistleblower allegations of political bias are just a few things that will likely be brought to the forefront in highlighting Wray’s abyssal directorship.

Wray’s decision to step down was likely prompted by Senator Charles Grassley’s scathing letter earlier this week. Grassley delivered a brutal critique of Wray’s tenure, declaring it “time for you and your deputy to move on to the next chapter in your lives.” In the letter, Grassley highlighted politically biased investigations and alleged retaliation against whistleblowers, as well as calling out the FBI’s handling of the Trump era.

Wray is set to be replaced by Kash Patel, who Democrats fear will politicize the Bureau - something they've never complained about when it was their side doing it. Last week, Patel released a list of sixty “deep staters he plans to target immediately when he begins his role. Patel said other “corrupt actors” could include Eric Swalwell and Adam Schiff, Paul Ryan, and Christopher Steele.

On an unrelated note, this comes after some dude at a McDonalds found the alleged UnitedHealth CEO shooter before the entire FBI did.
