Fox News halted for JD Vance speech as he attempts to appeal to blue-collar workers

Fox News broke away from its usual programming on Monday, May 18, to air a look at JD Vance’s speech from a Missouri manufacturing plant, where he touted the administration’s efforts to bring manufacturing jobs back to the United States.

The conservative news network cut into its afternoon show, America Reports, to bring the speech, from a plant in Kansas City, to viewers, as the vice president touted that they were fighting for American workers.

While some think that the president is engineering Vance to ‘fail’ ahead of his 2028 presidential ambitions, he appeared to strike intrigue from the crowd assembled to hear him speak.
