Kamala Harris pulled a page out of the Hillary Clinton playbook and decided to put on a fake accent during her latest pandering attempt.
While speaking at a Labor Day event in Detroit, Harris told the crowd, with a noticeable shift in her dialect, "You better thank a union member for the five-day work week,” Harris said. “You better thank a union member for sick leave. You better thank a union member for paid leave. You better thank a union member for vacation time,” she added, further attributing to unions a trend started by Henry Ford.
Amusingly, that accent magically disappeared when delivering the exact same lines in Pittsburgh just hours apart.
Greg Price put together a side by side comparison you can watch below:

Same speech. Two entirely different accents.

This was hardly the first time Harris debuted a fake accent when pandering, and it’ll hardly be the latest. Here’s a compilation just a few minutes worth of her phony accents - a personal favorite is when she suddenly adopts a southern drawl when arguing for gun control.
