Dr. Keith Ablow: MSNBC's Jen Psaki Says Muslims Are Being Brainwashed to Oppose Transgenderism

Jen Psaki, former White House Press Secretary under President Obama, is now an MSNBC host.  True to form, she is now attempting to attack religion and autonomy by telling Muslim Americans that they are being duped by Republicans into opposing transgenderism—somehow used like pawns to resist what she thinks are facts:  that men can be born into women’s bodies and that women can be born into men’s bodies.  

Apparently, Psaki isn’t aware that Muslim Americans can think for themselves and choose whether or not to follow the longstanding guidance of Islam which considers transgenderism (not a new phenomenon in the world) to be the manifestation of a mental illness and strictly forbids Muslims to indulge in it.  Dressing as a member of the opposite gender to one’s anatomy and DNA is, in fact, a sin, never mind cutting off one’s genitals and crudely fashioning opposite ones with plastic surgery, while maintaining the ruse by swallowing or injecting opposite sex hormones.

Psaki’s warning to the Muslim community would be like her warning American Jews not to be duped into aligning with Republicans who believe in one God or who support Israel.  It shows profound ignorance about the beliefs of the group she is addressing (here, Muslim Americans), suggests they have no actual self-determination and presumes, since they cannot think for themselves, that she had better save them from being brainwashed.  Predictably, the path to saving themselves is by agreeing with her and her minions in the Democrat party.

What a sham. 

Of course, Muslim Americans are finding they have more in common with Republicans.  We respect the differences between men and women.  We believe in God.  And we believe that Americans should be free to worship according to their beliefs.  Almost incredibly, these beliefs are not shared by the vast majority of Democrats in 2023.
