New York City Mayor Eric Adams is continuing to lobby for a pardon from President-elect Donald Trump, announcing that he would work with incoming Border Czar Tom Homan to deport illegal immigrants who commit crimes in the Big Apple. Despite the shift in tone, that illegals with criminal charges should be deported is just about the mildest stance one can take on the issue in favor of law and order.
Adam’s remarks came not long after he promised to expand the NYPD using money previously allocated for illegal immigrants due to reduced arrivals.
"Those who are here committing crimes, robberies, shooting at police officers, raping innocent people have been a harm to our country," Adams said. "I want to sit down and hear the plan on how we're going to address them. I would love to sit down with the border czar and hear his thoughts on how we're going to address those who are harming our citizens."
When asked if he thinks the city should, in “some circumstances,” cooperate with the Trump administration in deporting illegal immigrants, he reiterated that if they committed crimes, they should be deported, and dared the left to cancel him.

Unfortunately it doesn’t seem like he believes illegally crossing the border alone makes one a criminal illegal alien - as if there’s any other kind.
