A 25-year-old man was arrested after allegedly making terroristic threats aboard a Newark-bound United Airlines flight, prompting the plane to turn around and return to Las Vegas late Saturday night, police said.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) said officers responded to Harry Reid International Airport on Oct. 24 after the passenger allegedly made threats aboard United Flight 1681.
Officers detained the passenger, identified as Dante Milne, without incident after the plane landed safely, according to police.
LVMPD investigators arrested Milne on suspicion of making a threat or conveying false information concerning an act of terrorism. He was later booked into the Clark County Detention Center.
