Tragic “Nashville” star Hayden Panettiere died just days before her 37th birthday – but after years of heartbreak, tragedy and addiction.
“It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of our beloved Hayden,” her dad, Skip, said late Sunday, hours after the actress was found dead in South Carolina.
“She was an incredible light and a force of nature who brought immeasurable love and joy to all who knew her — and to the millions who watched her onscreen.”
The actress’ body was found in a Greenville, South Carolina, apartment by an unidentified friend who reported an “unresponsive female” in “cardiac arrest” at 1:51 p.m. Sunday, TMZ reported.
