Daily Caller co-founder and former Fox News host Tucker Carlson retweeted a post Monday featuring a statement from author Chadwick Moore, who claimed to know why Fox decided to part ways with its top-ranked anchor.
Moore has spent the last year writing the “definitive biography” of Carlson, which is based on more than 100 hours of interviews and thorough research, according to the tweet. The book is set to be released in mid-July, but Moore apparently felt the need to share some of the information he uncovered well ahead of the official release date.
“I was working closely with Tucker when he was taken off the air by Fox. And as some of you know, I was also a regular on his show, and I happened to be a guest on the final episode of the show, which was on April 21,” Moore noted in the video. “I’ve also seen the monologue that Tucker planned to deliver on Monday, April 24, before his show was abruptly taken off the air.”
